Watchlist & Notifications

Pin components for continuous monitoring. Configure email and Slack alerts.

Once you ship a BOM to production, the risk picture doesn't freeze — distributors run out of stock, manufacturers issue PCNs, governments impose tariffs. The Watchlist plus Notifications system keeps you informed without forcing you to re-assess manually.

Pinning a component

Open any Component Risk Detail panel and click "Watch" in the top-right. The part now appears in the Watchlist page (sidebar). You can watch as many components as you like — there is no limit on any tier.

What gets monitored

• Composite score change (positive or negative) of ≥10 points.
• Severity tier change (LOW→MEDIUM, MEDIUM→HIGH, HIGH→CRITICAL — or improvements in the other direction).
• Distributor stock dropping below a configurable threshold (default: 1,000 units across all distributors).
• Lifecycle status changes (e.g., ACTIVE → NRND → EOL).
• New PCN issued in the last 30 days.
• New sanctions or tariff updates affecting the part.

Configuring alerts

Open Settings → Notifications to choose how you want to be reached:

Alert threshold

Choose which severity changes trigger alerts (Low / Medium / High / Critical).

Email alerts

Sent to your account email immediately when any watched component crosses the threshold.

Weekly digest

A Monday-morning summary of every watched component's status. Useful even when nothing fires alerts.

Webhook (Enterprise)

POST to your endpoint when HIGH or CRITICAL alerts fire. Signed with a shared secret; payloads include 1-hour replay protection.
